Warranty Coverage
Thermogroup is an Australian company offering a comprehensive range of heated towel rails, underfloor heating, space heating, mirrors and bathroom furniture under the Thermorail, Thermomat, Thermofan and Ablaze brands. Its products are backed by manufacturer's warranties against defects in materials and workmanship.
For a manufacturing fault identified within the first 12 months of purchase that requires replacement by a licensed electrician, Thermogroup will arrange troubleshooting and replacement at no cost. After the first 12 months, Thermogroup will supply replacement parts for the remainder of the applicable warranty period but will not cover removal or installation costs.
Thermomat — Underfloor Heating
- Underfloor heating cable and mat: Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to registration within 60 days of installation.
- Thermotouch thermostat: Three-year replacement warranty.
Thermorail — Heated Towel Rails
- Polished stainless steel rails, including Thermorad: 10-year replacement warranty.
- Brushed, black, white and other coloured or plated rails: Seven-year replacement warranty.
- Custom-plated rails: Five-year replacement warranty.
- 12V transformer: One-year replacement warranty.
- TRTS, TRTSL and TRTSB timers: Two-year replacement warranty.
- EB11 timer: Three-year replacement warranty.
- ET12C, ET12CB and 5289 timers: One-year replacement warranty.
Thermofan — Space Heating
- Thermofan fan heaters: Two-year replacement warranty.
- Outdoor heaters: Two-year replacement warranty.
Ablaze Mirrors
- Standard Thermomirror demister pads: 10-year replacement warranty.
- 5312 and 5312P Thermomirror 12V demister pads: Five-year replacement warranty. The mirror and transformer carry a separate one-year warranty.
- Premium back-lit mirrors: Three years on the mirror and electrical components.
- Framed and frameless mirrors and mirror cabinets: Two-year replacement warranty.
- Magnifying mirrors: One year on the mirror and electrical components.
Solid-Surface Bathroom Furniture
- Bath caddies and shower stools: Five-year replacement warranty.
Proof of purchase is required for every warranty claim. Lifetime coverage on Thermomat underfloor heating requires product registration within 60 days of installation.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Repair or replacement of faulty products within the applicable warranty period.
- Troubleshooting and replacement, including an electrician where required, for eligible manufacturing faults identified within the first 12 months of purchase.
What's Not Covered
- Incorrect installation or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.
- Misuse, carelessness or accidental damage.
- Damage caused by floods, fires, lightning or other events beyond Thermogroup's control.
- Use of incompatible components or accessories not supplied by Thermogroup.
- Normal maintenance and care procedures.
- Failure to power up due to an inadequate or interrupted electrical supply.
- Changes in appearance that do not affect product performance.
- Products installed outside Australia.
Conditions
- The product must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and applicable local regulations.
- The product must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's installation guide.
- Thermomat underfloor heating must be registered within 60 days of installation to qualify for the lifetime warranty.
- Proof of purchase must be provided with every claim.
- Lifting, replacing or repairing floor coverings over the underfloor heating will void the lifetime warranty.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
