Returns & Refunds

At 8Appliances, we aim to resolve any issues quickly and fairly. Please review the conditions below carefully before requesting a return, as not all purchases are eligible for refund.

If a product you have purchased is not of merchantable quality, or does not match the description or sample provided, you are entitled to a refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Proof of purchase must be provided to receive a refund.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

To request a return or exchange, you must contact us within this period. 

Please note: Return eligibility is subject to the conditions outlined below, including requirements for product condition and exclusions for change of mind.

Claims & Damages

Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

Any damages, faults, or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, products must be:

  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • In new and resalable condition
  • Complete with all accessories and documentation

Goods that have been unpacked, installed, or used cannot be returned unless they are faulty, not of merchantable quality, or do not match the description or sample provided.

Change of Mind & Exchanges

Please choose carefully when purchasing, as refunds are not automatically provided for change of mind or incorrect selections.

Exchange requests may be considered and must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, and are subject to approval.

Fees & Exclusions

Approved cancellations and returns may incur an administration and handling fee between 15% and 30%.

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Special or custom order products
  • Clearance items
  • Floor stock or ex-display products

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the product is faulty, damaged, or does not match the description provided.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Refunds are typically processed within 1–2 business days after the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved.

For purchases made via cash or EFT, refunds over $200 will be issued via EFT to your nominated bank account.

Warranty

All products sold are covered by manufacturer warranties.

Depending on the manufacturer’s terms:

  • Products may be repaired, or
  • Replaced where applicable

Proof of purchase must be provided for all warranty claims.
