• Adjacent cabinetry: Surrounding cabinets must be heat resistant, and veneers or laminates need a heat-resistant adhesive; the oven back wall can run well above room temperature. If unsure of the cabinet heat resistance, leave free space around the oven as the manual advises.
• Cabinet requirements: Fitted units next to the oven must withstand 90°C and adjacent unit fronts 70°C. Allow 5 mm top and bottom and 20 mm left and right clearance for door panels, and keep a ventilation area of at least 250 mm² below the oven.
• Fixing: Secure the oven with the two rubber plugs and screws through the fixing holes visible with the door open. Do not install behind a decorative door.
• Under a hob: Worktop thickness above the oven: 27mm for electric, 30mm for gas, 37mm for induction and 47mm for full-surface induction hobs.
• Handling: Lift the oven into place using two people and protective gloves. Do not carry it by the door or handle.
• Plug-in connection: Connect to an accessible earthed socket. The manual calls for a 16A socket while the specification sheet says 15 AMP; confirm with the installer. If the socket sits behind the appliance, add 30mm to the cabinet depth.
• Built-in: Install in a cabinet cutout with suitable ventilation and heat-resistant adjacent panels; follow the cutout dimensions and clearances in the Artusi user manual and specification sheet.
• Electrical: 15 AMP electrical connection with 1.0m power cord, maximum 3000W. The specification sheet does not state the plug type; have a licensed electrician confirm the connection.
• Licensed installation: Have a licensed electrician connect and test the oven.
