• Qualified installer: The manual requires installation and connection by a qualified person, and the cooktop must be earthed.
• Cut-out: 564mm x 494mm; depth below the benchtop 58mm.
• Worktop: A wooden insert at least 50mm below the hob and an air intake of at least 20mm are specified.
• Surrounding clearance: Leave at least 50mm free around the cutout. The glue and panelling used on the worktop must resist 150 degrees C and the rear wall and adjacent surfaces 90 degrees C, according to the manual.
• Above the cooktop: Allow 600mm to 750mm above the hob to a rangehood or cupboard.
• Electrical: Hardwired by a qualified person with an all-pole isolating switch (3mm gap); single-phase connection is allowed where there are at least 4 heating units.

The Artusi CAID646B is the four-zone model in the Artusi 60cm Schott glass induction range, alongside the three-zone CAID636B, and is part of the Artusi Commercial range. The white CAID6000W is a separate model with a 5400W total. Slim 4mm black trim and a low 62mm profile keep the look streamlined.

For everyday cooking, use the 2400W rear left zone (Boost 2600W) for large pots and the 1400W front left zone for small saucepans. The Boost key runs a zone at its boost rating for 5 minutes, and when several timers are running the display shows the shortest one. Pans smaller than 140mm may not be detected, so match the pan to the zone.
