• Licensed installation: Installation by a licensed person only, including gas and electrical connections.
• Cutout: Cut an opening of 840mm wide x 480mm deep.
• Worktop thickness: Suits a 40mm or 50mm thick worktop; fit the supplied seal under the edge and secure with the fixing brackets.
• Clearances above: 650 to 750mm clearance to a rangehood or overhead surface. Adjacent upper cabinets may sit lower than this if they are heat and steam resistant; see the installation manual for the minimum heights.
• Under-hob space: Leave a removable panel at least 15mm below the hob and keep a rear ventilation slot of at least 30mm.
• Room ventilation: Rooms of 5 to 10 cubic metres need a 50 cm2 vent and rooms under 5 cubic metres need 100 cm2; do not install in a room with a bath or shower.
• Gas connection: G 1/2 inch thread, rigid pipe with a gasket between the inlet pipe and elbow. Natural gas uses the supplied regulator (1.0 kPa); ULPG connects via the test point (2.75 kPa). Leak test every joint with soapy water.
• Gas conversion: Convertible between natural gas and LPG by changing injectors (see the manual injector table); this must be done by a licensed gas fitter.
• Electrical: Supplied with a 3-pin plug and cord; connect to a 10 amp power point.

The CAGH95X is the widest cooktop in this Artusi gas family. Its 860mm stainless steel top gives generous room for several large pots at once, and the five Italian Sabaf burners are spread across the width so pans do not crowd each other.

With the 3.6kW wok burner, a 3.0kW rapid, two 1.75kW semi-rapid and a 1.0kW auxiliary burner, the layout moves from searing to gentle simmering without changing pans. The enamel trivets are easy to lift out and clean, and the wok cradle gives round-bottomed woks a stable seat.

The 840mm x 480mm cutout is a good match when replacing an older wide gas cooktop. In the box are the cooktop, enamel trivets, burner caps, wok cradle, sealing strip, fixing brackets, regulator or test point, and the user manual with warranty card.
