• Licensed installation: Installation by a licensed person only, including gas and electrical connections.
• Cutout: Cut an opening of 557mm wide x 477mm deep, which also suits many 60cm cooktop openings.
• Worktop thickness: Suits a 40mm or 50mm thick worktop; fit the supplied seal under the edge and secure with the fixing brackets.
• Clearances above: 650 to 750mm clearance to a rangehood or overhead surface. Adjacent upper cabinets may sit lower than this if they are heat and steam resistant; see the installation manual for the minimum heights.
• Under-hob space: Leave a removable panel at least 15mm below the hob and keep a rear ventilation slot of at least 30mm.
• Room ventilation: Rooms of 5 to 10 cubic metres need a 50 cm2 vent and rooms under 5 cubic metres need 100 cm2; do not install in a room with a bath or shower.
• Gas connection: G 1/2 inch thread, rigid pipe with a gasket between the inlet pipe and elbow. Natural gas uses the supplied regulator (1.0 kPa); ULPG connects via the test point (2.75 kPa). Leak test every joint with soapy water.
• Gas conversion: Convertible between natural gas and LPG by changing injectors (see the manual injector table); this must be done by a licensed gas fitter.
• Electrical: Supplied with a 3-pin plug and cord; connect to a 10 amp power point.

The CAGH75X sits in the middle of the Artusi 5-burner gas range. At 68cm it offers a wider cooking surface than a standard 60cm cooktop, yet its 557mm x 477mm cutout is close to the opening many 60cm gas cooktops leave behind, so a like-for-like upgrade often needs little more than minor bench-front trimming.

The layout puts the 3.8kW wok burner in the centre with the rapid, semi-rapid and auxiliary burners around it, so the hottest flame sits in the middle of the cooking zone and the gentle burners stay within easy reach. Heavy matt black cast iron trivets contrast with the stainless steel top for a professional look.

For best results match the pan to the burner: 24 to 26cm on the wok burner, 20 to 22cm on the rapid, 16 to 18cm on the semi-rapid burners and 10 to 14cm on the auxiliary. The wok cradle, burner caps, sealing strip and fixing brackets are included, along with the user manual and warranty card.
