• Installation type: Freestanding on a rigid, dry, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with sufficient ventilation and a room temperature above 5°C. Do not install on carpet, behind a lockable or sliding door, or built in.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The AWD850W uses a cold water connection only and needs inlet water pressure between 0.05 and 1 MPa. Connect the drain hose at a height of no more than 100 cm and keep the mains plug accessible after installation. The machine is for indoor domestic use only, and water and electrical connections should be carried out by a qualified technician.

Programme times vary with the load, water temperature and options selected, and the figures in the manual are for reference. Cotton ECO is the standard washing programme for the ratings, with an 8.0kg full load, 4.0kg half load and 2.0kg quarter load, and Auto Dry is the standard drying programme at a 5.0kg load with a 2.5kg half load. Quick 15' is limited to 1 kg of small synthetic items or about four shirts.

Use a non-foaming or low-foaming detergent suitable for automatic machines, add detergent to compartment I only when Pre Wash is selected, and never put laundry beads in the dispenser. Do not dry items containing foam rubber, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, bulky items such as quilts and sleeping bags, or delicate synthetics, wool and silk. Washing single items can cause an unbalanced load, so add one or two more items for a smooth spin.

The 4.5 star WELS rating of 68 litres per wash is based on the Cotton ECO programme at 60°C and 1400 RPM with an 8kg load. The energy figure of 244 kWh per year is the washing figure from the Government Energy Rating Calculator for seven washes per week, and actual use depends on how the appliance is used. Artusi covers this appliance with a 2 year warranty, extended by a further 3 years with product registration.
