• Qualified installation: Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified person in line with applicable regulations and the operation manual.
• Mounting height: Install the hood 600mm to 750mm above the hob, as shown in the operation manual.
• Hob size: The hood is intended for use over a hob with no more than four hob elements.
• Room ventilation: Provide adequate ventilation when the hood runs with appliances burning gas or other fuels; the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa.
• Flued gas appliances: Have any flued gas appliances tested by a competent person after installation to confirm there is no back flow of combustion gases.
• Ducting guidance: Rigid or semi-rigid duct with a short run and minimal bends performs best. Flexible ribbed duct is discouraged because it reduces airflow and adds noise. Keep runs to about 5 metres, counting each 90° bend as 1 metre; longer runs need a TD500 or TD350 in-line motor fitted about 1 metre from the external vent on its own switch.

The Artusi AUM92X is a concealed undermount rangehood for kitchens where the hood should stay out of sight above the cooktop. It is light, simple to use and offers three extraction levels with an integrated LED light.

It can be ducted with Ø120mm duct or used in recirculating mode with a charcoal filter. Cut-out and mounting details for the cabinet are in the operation manual supplied with the hood.

The operation manual is shared by the AUM52X and AUM92X. Installation and electrical connection should be completed by a qualified person.
