• Qualified installation: Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified person in line with applicable regulations and the operation manual.
• Mounting height: The specification sheet lists a minimum of 600mm above electric and gas cooktops, while the operation manual shows 650mm above an electric hob and 750mm above a gas hob. Follow the greater distance for your cooktop.

• Gas appliances: Provide adequate ventilation when the hood is used with gas or other fuel-burning appliances, and have any flued gas appliances tested by a competent person after installation to confirm there is no back flow of combustion gases.

The Artusi AUM51X is a concealed undermount hood: it mounts inside or beneath the cabinet above the cooktop so the hood itself is hidden from view. It suits kitchens that want strong function with minimal visual impact.

It can be installed for ducted or recirculating use. For ducted installations use Ø120mm ducting; for recirculating installations fit the optional charcoal filter (2825263), which should be replaced about every 3 months.

Artusi's operation manual for the AUM51X uses a UK-format layout. Mounting distances to the hob differ between the specification sheet (600mm minimum) and the manual (650mm over electric, 750mm over gas), so follow the greater distance for your cooktop and confirm the final installation height with your installer.
