• Qualified installation: Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified person in line with applicable regulations and the operation manual.
• Minimum hob distance: Install at least 65cm above a gas hob.
• Ducting: Use a Ø150mm duct (or a Ø120mm duct with a reducer flange).
• Chimney: Two 500mm flue sections; the hood line sits 970mm to 1070mm above the cooktop.
• Hob size: The hood is intended for use over a hob with no more than four hob elements.
• Room ventilation: Provide adequate ventilation when the hood runs with appliances burning gas or other fuels; the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa.
• Flued gas appliances: Have any flued gas appliances tested by a competent person after installation to confirm there is no back flow of combustion gases.
• Ducting guidance: Rigid or semi-rigid duct with a short run and minimal bends performs best. Flexible ribbed duct is discouraged because it reduces airflow and adds noise. Keep runs to about 5 metres, counting each 90° bend as 1 metre; longer runs need a TD500 or TD350 in-line motor fitted about 1 metre from the external vent on its own switch.

The Artusi ATH900X is a wall-mounted 90cm hood with 625 m³/h of extraction, touch controls and two LED lights. It is supplied with two charcoal filters, so it is ready for recirculating installations.

For ducted installations it connects to Ø150mm ducting (or Ø120mm with a reducer flange). A two-piece 500mm flue covers standard ceiling heights, and the hood line sits 970mm to 1070mm above the cooktop.
