• Full Grill: Uses the full grill element across the top of the cavity for browning, melting and grilling flat foods. The Artusi manuals advise grilling with the door closed.
• Half Grill: Uses only the central part of the grill element for small portions such as toast or a single steak, so there is less to heat.
• Full Grill + Fan: Grill elements with the fan circulating air, so the surface browns while the heat reaches further into the food. Suited to thicker cuts and chicken pieces.
• Fan Forced: A heating element around the fan gives even heat through the whole cavity and shortens preheating. Best for cooking several dishes on different shelves at once.
• Convection: Conventional top and bottom heat without the fan. Cook one tray or rack at a time for even results; suited to cakes, dry pastries and fruit.
• Fan Bake: Fan-assisted baking function for bakes, pies and bases that need steady heat from below as well as circulating air.
• Air Fry: Fan-driven high heat used with the air fry basket supplied, for crisp results on chips, wings and crumbed foods with little oil.

• Built-in only: Designed for installation in a cabinet with good heat dissipation. Leave the ventilation clearances shown in the manual and keep the vents unobstructed.
• Adjacent cabinetry: Panels next to the oven must be heat resistant; veneered units need glues resistant to 120°C. Once installed there must be no contact with live parts, and protective covers must only come off with tools.
• Fixing: Slide the oven into the cabinet, open the door and fix it with the two mounting screws and spacers supplied.
• Handling: Lift by the handle holes or from underneath and place gently; do not use the door or handle to carry the oven.
• Isolating switch: Fit an accessible isolating switch in the fixed wiring so the oven can be disconnected from the supply. Disconnect the power before any adjustment or maintenance.
• Electrical connection: The manual describes a supply cable fitted by the installer at the terminal board and connected through a power switch rated above 16A, with brown to L, blue to N and yellow/green to earth. Have a licensed electrician connect and test the oven.
