The AID32A is a domino: a slim 288mm wide module designed to work on its own in a small kitchen or to sit beside another cooktop, such as a gas or ceramic unit, so one benchtop can offer two cooking technologies side by side.

Induction heats the pan itself, which makes the AID32A quick to boil and easy to control. Use the 2kW rear zone for larger saucepans and boiling, and the 1.5kW front zone for smaller pans, melting and simmering. Only magnetic cookware works, and a magnet that sticks to the base is a quick way to check a pan.

In the box are the cooktop, two fixing brackets, a seal strip, and the user manual and warranty card. The cooktop is hardwired by a licensed electrician through an isolating switch rather than plugged in.
