• Choosing a programme: open the door and press the Power button to light the screen, then press the Program buttons to step through the programmes; the matching indicator lights. Close the door and the dishwasher starts its cycle. The screen shows the remaining time, the delay time and any error codes.
• Mini 14': a 14 minute refresh for lightly soiled items.
• Quick 30' 40°: a fast 30 minute wash at 40°C.
• Eco: the standard daily cycle for normally soiled loads and the most efficient programme for combined energy and water use; it is the test cycle for the ratings (195 minutes, 0.620 kWh, 12.0 litres).

• Adding a forgotten dish: open the door a little to stop the wash, wait for the spray arms to stop, add the dish and close the door; the dishwasher starts again after 10 seconds. This works any time before the detergent dispenser opens.
• Changing a programme: possible only shortly after the start. Open the door a little, wait for the spray arms to stop, then hold the Program button for more than three seconds to return to standby and choose a new programme. Refill the detergent dispenser if needed.
• Unloading: wait about 15 minutes after the programme ends before taking out glass and cutlery, and empty the lower basket first.
• Auto power off: in standby the appliance switches off automatically after 30 minutes without operation.
• Error codes: E1 (longer inlet time, such as a closed tap or low water pressure), E3 (not reaching the required temperature), E4 (overflow), E8 and EC (valve or motor faults) and Ed (communication fault).

• Installation type: Fully integrated, fitted into cabinetry with your own door panel fixed to the outer door. Position the dishwasher near the existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord.
• Qualified installation: The pipework and electrical equipment should be installed by professionals, with the power disconnected before installing.
• Cabinet opening: Allow for a 600 mm wide opening and a height to suit the 815 mm body. Leave less than 5 mm between the top of the dishwasher and the cabinet, with the outer door aligned to the cabinet, and leave an entrance for the electrical, drain and water supply lines. At a cabinet corner, leave at least 50 mm of space so the door can open.
• Door depth: The depth is 550 mm with the door closed and 1150 mm with the door opened 90°, so allow clear floor space in front.
• Door panel: Panel weight must be 3 to 8 kg, with a maximum height of 720 mm. Fit the hook on the panel into the slot of the outer door, then fix the panel to the outer door with the four long screws in place of the four short screws.
• Door spring tension: Turn the adjusting screw with an Allen key clockwise to tighten the left and right door springs, so the door stays horizontal when fully opened yet rises to close with a slight lift of a finger.
• Installation steps: Affix the condensation strip under the work surface flush with its edge, connect the inlet hose, drain hose and power cord, slide the dishwasher into position, level it, fit the furniture door and adjust the door springs.
• Levelling: Use a spirit level on the door and rack track to check level front to back and side to side, adjusting the three levelling legs individually. The maximum foot adjustment is 50 mm, and care is needed so the dishwasher does not tip over.
• Securing the dishwasher: On a normal work surface, put the installation hook into the slot on the side and fix it to the work surface with wood screws. On marble or granite, fix the side with a screw.
• Water connection: Connect the cold water hose to a threaded 3/4 inch connector and fasten it tightly. If the pipes are new or have not been used for some time, let the water run clear first. Use the new hose set supplied; old hose sets must not be reused.
• Safety supply hose: The double-walled hose blocks the flow of water if the supply hose breaks. Pull it out from the storage compartment at the rear, tighten it to the tap and turn the water fully on before starting.
• Water pressure: The permitted water pressure is 0.04 to 1.0 MPa (0.4 to 10 bar).
• Drain hose: Fix the hose securely and run it into a drain pipe at least 4 cm in diameter or into the sink, without bending or crimping, with the drain height under 1000 mm. The free end must not be immersed in water. An extension must be a similar hose no longer than 4 metres.
• Electrical: Requires a 220-240V, 50Hz supply on a separate circuit serving only this appliance, with a 10A, 13A or 16A time delay fuse or circuit breaker. Do not use an extension cord or an adaptor plug.
• Earthing: The appliance must be properly earthed. Never cut or remove the earthing connection, and have a socket that does not suit the plug replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Supply cord: Do not excessively bend or flatten the power cord during installation; a damaged cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.

The ADWFI700/1 is the shallow-depth version of Artusi's flagship 15 place setting integrated dishwasher: it is 550 mm deep and 815 mm high, so it suits standard cabinetry, with the door panel not supplied. The removable third layer cutlery tray frees up the baskets for larger items.

The turbidity sensor measures how dirty the water is during the wash and adapts time, temperature and water use accordingly, so the Smart programmes cover most daily loads. Auto door opening at the end of the cycle releases steam so dishes finish drying without a wet cavity.

The 5 star WELS rating is for 12.0 litres per wash, and the Eco programme uses 0.620 kWh over 195 minutes. Keep the rinse aid topped up and use the Energy Save option for the most efficient finish.
