• Choosing a programme: close the door and press the Power button, then press the Program buttons to select the programme you want; its indicator lights. Press Start/Pause and the dishwasher starts its cycle. The display shows the remaining time and any error code.
• Intensive: for the heaviest soiled crockery such as pots, pans, casserole dishes and dishes with dried-on food (160 minutes).
• Heavy: for heavily soiled loads such as pots, plates, glasses and lightly soiled pans (150 minutes).
• ECO: the standard everyday cycle for normally soiled loads such as pots, plates, glasses and lightly soiled pans, and the test cycle for the ratings (180 minutes).
• 90 Min: for lightly soiled plates and pans that need a quick wash.
• Glass: for lightly soiled crockery and glass (126 minutes).
• Rapid: a 30 minute wash at 40°C for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying.
• Half Load: use with half a load of place settings or fewer to save energy and water. It works with Intensive, Heavy, ECO, Glass and 90 Min.
• Extra Drying: gives a better drying result, with the same programme limits as Half Load.
• Strong Wash: increases wash intensity for stubborn soil.
• Delay start: press "+" to add delay time or "-" to reduce it; the delay indicator shows 3, 6 or 9 hours.
• Child lock: hold the button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the control panel buttons, so children cannot start the dishwasher by accident; only the Power button remains active, and an indicator shows when the child lock is on.
• Indicators: a rinse aid warning lights when the dispenser needs a refill, and a program end indicator lights when the cycle finishes.
• Rinse aid dial: turn the rinse aid indicator dial to a higher number if dishes are not drying or are spotted, and to a lower number if there are sticky whitish stains or a bluish film on glass.
• Detergent: add detergent to the larger cavity for the main wash and, for more heavily soiled loads, some to the smaller cavity for the pre-wash. Fill it only when you are ready to start the dishwasher.
• Adding a forgotten dish: press Start/Pause to pause the wash, wait for the spray arms to stop, open the door, add the dish and close the door. Press Start/Pause and the dishwasher continues after 10 seconds. This works any time before the detergent dispenser opens.
• Changing a programme: possible only shortly after the start. Press Start/Pause to pause, hold the Program button for more than three seconds to return to programme selection, choose the new programme and press Start/Pause. Refill the detergent dispenser if needed.
• Unloading and standby: wait about 15 minutes after the programme ends before taking out glass and cutlery, and empty the lower basket first. In standby the appliance switches off automatically after 30 minutes without operation.
• Fault indicators: a rapidly flickering Rapid light shows a longer inlet time (tap closed, restricted intake or low water pressure), the Glass light shows overflow or a leak, the 90 Min and Rapid lights together show the temperature was not reached, and the ECO, Glass and Rapid lights together show a communication fault.

• Installation type: Freestanding, or fitted between cabinets (845 mm high); remove the top to fit under a worktop (815 mm high). Position the dishwasher near the existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord, with the back against the wall and the sides along adjacent cabinets or walls.
• Qualified installation: The pipework and electrical equipment should be installed by professionals, with the power disconnected before installing.
• Fitting between cabinets: At 845 mm high the machine is designed to fit between existing cabinets of the same height, with the feet adjusted to reach the correct height. The laminated top is heatproof, scratchproof and stainproof.
• Fitting under a worktop: Remove the dishwasher's top by unscrewing the screws under its rear edge, then refit those screws under the rear edge after the top is removed. The height is then reduced to 815 mm so the dishwasher fits under the work top.
• Cut-out: Allow 600 mm width and 820 mm height under a worktop, with less than 5 mm between the top of the dishwasher and the cabinet, and leave an entrance for the electrical, drain and water supply lines.
• Corner installation: If installed at the corner of a cabinet, leave at least 50 mm of space so the door can open. Depending on where the outlet is, you may need to cut a hole in the opposite cabinet side.
• Door depth: The depth is 600 mm with the door closed and 1175 mm with the door opened 90°, so allow clear floor space in front.
• Levelling: Level using the adjustable feet; the machine must not be inclined by more than 2 degrees.
• Water connection: Connect the 150 cm hose to a threaded 3/4 inch connector on a cold water supply and fasten it tightly. Let the water run clear first if the pipes are new or unused, and use the new hose set; old hose sets must not be reused.
• Safety supply hose: The double-walled hose blocks the flow of water if the supply hose breaks. Pull it out from the storage compartment at the rear, tighten it to the tap and turn the water fully on before starting.
• Water pressure: The permitted water pressure is 0.04 to 1.0 MPa (0.4 to 10 bar).
• Drain hose: Fix the 150 cm drain hose securely, with the hose hook closed onto the counter, and run it into a drain pipe at least 4 cm in diameter or into the sink without bending or crimping, with the drain height under 1000 mm. The free end must not be immersed in water, and an extension must be a similar hose no longer than 4 metres.
• Electrical: 150 cm power cord to a 10A earthed GPO on a separate circuit serving only this appliance, with a 10A, 13A or 16A time delay fuse or circuit breaker; no extension cords or adaptors.
• Earthing: The appliance must be properly earthed. Never cut or remove the earthing connection, and have a socket that does not suit the plug replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Supply cord: Do not excessively bend or flatten the power cord during installation; a damaged cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.

The ADW5003 is Artusi's value-focused large-capacity freestanding dishwasher, with room for 14 place settings and a black control panel across all four finishes. The grey internal baskets and hardware give a uniform look inside the machine when the door is open.

The removable cutlery basket can be loaded at the bench and dropped into the machine, and the fold-down spikes in the lower basket make room for big pots and platters. The any-angle door can be left in place wherever it suits you, and the rinse aid dial helps tune drying and spotting to your water.

The 4.5 star WELS rating is for 12.5 litres per wash, and the 275 kWh per year energy figure comes from the Government Energy Rating Calculator. Warranty is 2 years, extended to 5 years with product registration.
