• Choosing a programme: close the door and press the Power button, then press the Program button to select the programme you want; its indicator lights. Press Start/Pause and the dishwasher starts its cycle. Make sure the water supply is turned on to full pressure first.
• Quick 30: a fast wash for lightly soiled dishes.
• Delicate: a gentler wash for glassware and delicate items.
• ECO: the standard daily cycle for normally soiled loads and the test cycle for the ratings.
• Super 50: a mid-temperature wash for everyday loads.
• Intensive: the strongest wash for heavily soiled pots, pans, casserole dishes and baked-on food.
• Pre-set temperatures: 40°, 50°, 60° and 65°C, so the wash can be matched to the load.

• Display and indicators: the LED display shows the programme, remaining time, delay start, low rinse aid and error codes, and a programme end light comes on when the cycle finishes.
• Rinse aid: use branded liquid rinse aid only. The warning light shows when a refill is needed, and the optical level indicator beside the cap should never fall below 1/4 full.
• Rinse aid dial: the higher the number, the more rinse aid is used. If dishes are not drying or are spotted, move to the next higher number; reduce it if you see sticky whitish stains or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades.
• Detergent: add detergent to the larger cavity for the main wash and, for more heavily soiled loads, some into the smaller cavity for the pre-wash. Use dishwasher detergent only.
• Adding a forgotten dish: press Start/Pause, wait for the spray arms to stop, open the door carefully (hot steam may scald), add the dish and close the door. Press Start/Pause after 10 seconds. This works any time before the detergent dispenser opens.
• Changing a programme: possible only shortly after the start. Press Start/Pause to pause, hold the Program button for more than 3 seconds to enter standby, select the new programme and press Start/Pause; the dishwasher runs after 10 seconds. Refill the detergent dispenser if needed.
• Adjusting the upper basket: the height can be changed to fit taller dishes in either basket. Raise the cup rack, or fold back the lower basket spikes, to make room for tall glasses, platters and large plates.
• Loading tips: face cups, glasses and pans downwards, keep plates in front of the detergent dispenser to 19 cm or smaller, and place sharp knives pointing down or horizontally. Do not overload.
• Unloading: wait around 15 minutes after the programme ends before taking out glass and cutlery, and empty the lower basket first so water does not drip from the upper basket.
• Standby: the appliance switches off automatically after 30 minutes without operation.

• Installation type: Built-under, fitted beneath a benchtop in a 600 mm wide cabinet opening. Position the dishwasher near the existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord, with the back against the wall and the sides along adjacent cabinets.
• Qualified installation: The pipework and electrical equipment should be installed by professionals, with the power disconnected before installing.
• Cabinet opening: Allow 600 mm width and about 820 mm height under the worktop, with an entrance for the electrical, drain and water supply lines.
• Cabinet fit: Leave less than 5 mm between the top of the dishwasher and the cabinet, with the outer door aligned to the cabinet.
• Corner installation: If installed at the corner of a cabinet, leave at least 50 mm of space so the door can open. Depending on where the outlet is, you may need to cut a hole in the opposite cabinet side.
• Hose position: The water supply and drain hoses can be positioned to the right or left side to suit the installation.
• Levelling: Level using the adjustable feet and secure to the benchtop or side panel. The machine must not be inclined by more than 2 degrees.
• Water connection: Connect the 160 cm inlet hose to a threaded 3/4 inch cold water connector and fasten it tightly. Let the water run clear first if the pipes are new or unused, and use the new hose set; old hose sets must not be reused.
• Safety supply hose: The double-walled hose blocks the flow of water if the supply hose breaks. Pull it fully out of the storage compartment at the rear, tighten it to the 3/4 inch tap and turn the water fully on before starting.
• Sink spray hose: A hose that attaches to a sink spray can burst if installed on the same water line as the dishwasher; disconnect it and plug the hole if your sink has one.
• Drain hose: Fix the 150 cm drain hose securely in position A or B, and run it into a drain pipe at least 4 cm in diameter or into the sink without bending or crimping. The drain height must be less than 1000 mm, the free end must not be immersed in water, and an extension must be a similar hose no longer than 4 metres.
• Draining excess water: If the sink is 1000 mm or higher from the floor, excess water in the hoses cannot drain directly into it and must be drained into a bowl held lower than the sink.
• Electrical: 150 cm power cord to a 10A earthed GPO on a separate circuit serving only this appliance, with a time delay fuse or circuit breaker; no extension cords or adaptors.
• Earthing: The appliance must be properly earthed. Never cut or remove the earthing connection, and have a socket that does not suit the plug replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Supply cord: Do not excessively bend or flatten the power cord during installation; a damaged cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
