The WQG24200AU uses a closed-loop heat pump drying system rather than traditional resistance heating, allowing lower drying temperatures during operation. This can assist with reducing heat exposure on garments while supporting lower energy consumption across regular drying cycles.

Bosch recommends maintaining adequate rear clearance for ventilation and hose routing during installation. The supplied drain kit allows condensed water to discharge directly to drainage instead of requiring manual emptying of the internal condensate container.
