The Tornadic Fume Collection System is designed to generate a concentrated airflow directly across the cooking surface, helping to capture smoke before it disperses into the surrounding kitchen. This approach is particularly beneficial during high-temperature cooking where grease particles and cooking vapours are produced rapidly.

Unlike conventional rangehoods that often require periodic internal cleaning, the A851 incorporates Robam's Wash-Free Technology. The combination of centrifugal grease separation, anti-oil internal coating and guided airflow reduces grease accumulation around the motor housing while directing separated oil towards the collection system for easier maintenance.

The high static pressure capability also allows the A851 to better maintain airflow where longer duct runs or multiple bends are required during installation, helping preserve extraction performance across a wider variety of kitchen layouts.
