Engineered around Robam's proprietary Tornadic Fume Collection System, the A851 is designed to rapidly capture smoke, grease, steam and cooking odours directly above the cooking surface before they disperse throughout the kitchen. Twin high-efficiency DC motors generate an IEC-rated airflow of up to 1,140m³/h, while unrestricted airflow reaches 1,720m³/h for demanding cooking applications such as stir frying, searing and high-temperature wok cooking.

Beyond extraction performance, the A851 has been developed to reduce routine maintenance. Robam's Wash-Free Technology combines an anti-oil internal coating, precision-engineered centrifugal separation and an optimised airflow path to minimise grease accumulation inside the motor housing. Rather than allowing grease to build internally, oil particles are directed into the removable collection system, helping maintain extraction efficiency while reducing cleaning requirements.

Unlike conventional rangehoods that often require periodic internal cleaning, the A851 incorporates Robam's Wash-Free Technology.
