The MDRC284FZE01APE is a hybrid chest freezer, which means the same cabinet can work as a freezer or as a fridge. Fridge mode covers 0°C to 10°C and freezer mode covers -1°C to -30°C, so you can adapt it to bulk freezing, seasonal produce or extra refrigeration for a party.

The freezer is designed for year-round use and suits meat, fish, prawns, pastries and other foods that will not be eaten soon. Do not store liquids in bottled or sealed containers for long periods; if you must, keep them away from the freezer walls. A small difference between the set temperature and the actual temperature inside is normal. Condensation on the outside surface and door seals in humid conditions, warm side walls and brief difficulty reopening the lid after closing are all normal and do not affect performance.
