Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The clock and timer let you set an alarm, a cooking duration or an end time, each up to 23 hours 59 minutes. A duration combined with an end time delays the start so cooking finishes when you want it to, and the lock function (hold the lock button for 3 seconds) prevents accidental changes. If the door is opened during cooking the display shows the door status and cooking is paused, then resumes when it is closed, per the Midea user manual.

A cooling fan switches on and off as needed and may keep running after cooking to cool the oven, with hot air escaping above the door. In the fan modes the fan cycles on and off to give the best possible heat distribution. The five shelf positions are counted from the bottom up, and accessories can be pulled out about halfway and lock in place so they do not tip.

Before first use, clean the cavity and accessories, then heat the empty oven with the door closed at 250°C for 1 hour in a well ventilated kitchen to remove the new appliance smell. Never pour water into a hot cavity or cover the cavity floor with foil or baking paper, as this can damage the enamel. Midea's manual covers the 7NM30D0 platform, so details may vary slightly on the Australian model.
