• Installer requirement: must be installed and earthed by a suitably qualified electrician, following the manufacturer's installation instructions. Two people are required to install the oven.
• Power supply: supplied with a standard 230 V 15 A plug and cord. Connect to a standard 15 A switched GPO protected by a minimum 16 A circuit breaker. If permanently connected to the mains, an isolating switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm must be provided.
• Installation location: can be installed under a benchtop, under a cooktop or in a column cabinet, but not behind a decorative door.
• Clearances: at least 45 mm rear clearance, and the rear and bottom of the cabinet need an opening of approximately 90 mm for ventilation. The glass fascia should be set back 20 mm from the niche front.
• Cabinetry: adjacent cabinetry must be heat-resistant and strong enough to bear the weight of the oven. The oven is fixed to the cabinet with the 2 screws supplied.

Dual THERMAflow8 combines a uniquely engineered fan blade profile and speed with an efficient fan shield design to deliver heated air evenly through the oven, giving consistent results across all five cooking levels. Thermal reflective glass keeps the heat inside the oven rather than losing it through the door, and the Boost function brings the oven to 150°C in just 4 minutes when you need to get started quickly.

For convection hot air frying, select the Convection Baking: Fan Forced function (the air fryer basket may also be used with functions F-5 and F-6), place the food in the supplied wire air fryer basket and position it on a shelf. Preheat the oven to the recommended temperature before adding the food, and do not use the packet directions written for an air fryer appliance. With the wireless meat probe, the oven stops cooking automatically once the food reaches the core temperature you set, and the meat probe programmes (P-10 to P-12) must be paired successfully before they can be selected.

Before first use, carry out the recommended preparation procedures in the user manual. In Automatic Programme mode the oven does not need to be preheated, as each programme has a preset temperature and cooking time. The OMF9642X shares its user manual with the black OMF9642K.
