The integrated configuration allows the appliance to sit behind cabinetry rather than introducing a separate exterior finish into the kitchen. Accurate cabinet preparation and ventilation are essential, so the appliance and its official documentation should be available to the cabinetmaker or installer before final manufacture.

For efficient operation, retain the recommended shelf and drawer arrangement where practical, allow warm food to cool before refrigeration and keep door openings as brief as possible. The bottom-freezer layout places everyday refrigerated items higher in the cabinet while keeping frozen foods organised in separate lower drawers.
