Marine grade 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which gives it noticeably better resistance to chlorides and salt spray than standard 304. That makes this mixer a sensible choice for pool-side kitchens, beach houses and any exposed outdoor position.

The pull-out spray is the practical difference between this and a standard squareneck mixer. In an alfresco kitchen where the sink is often used for rinsing platters, fish and garden produce, a long hose turns the sink into a far easier place to work.
