  • Kitchens requiring space for large pots, oven trays and serving pieces

Product Overview

The Fienza RAK Stella RKS115 is a 755mm-wide single bowl butler sink, formed from fine fire clay ceramic and finished in Alpine Gloss White. Its broad rectangular bowl, exposed flat front and clean-sided profile provide the substantial presence expected of a traditional farmhouse sink, while the restrained detailing allows it to sit comfortably within contemporary, transitional and classic kitchen designs.

The sink is glazed on all sides, creating a consistent finished surface across the bowl, apron and exterior walls. Internally, the bowl measures approximately 695mm wide by 395mm from front to back, with a depth of 225mm. This gives the Stella a generous uninterrupted washing area for large cookware, oven trays, serving pieces and everyday kitchen preparation.

Installation can be configured as either undermount or flushmount. At 46kg, the RKS115 must be carried by permanent support shelving within the cabinetry rather than relying on the benchtop or sealant for structural support. A compatible Fienza A3 waste with an extended fixing bolt and foam seal is required and must be purchased separately.

Installation & Requirements
  • Installation type: undermount or flushmount
  • Structural support: install on permanent, level support shelving within the base cabinetry
  • Load consideration: cabinetry must be designed to carry the sink’s 46kg unfilled weight together with the additional load of water and items placed in the bowl
  • Final measurements: physically measure the delivered sink before fabricating cabinetry or cutting the benchtop
  • Ceramic tolerance: allow for up to ±10mm manufacturing variation in dimensions and form
  • Benchtop preparation: determine the final opening and edge treatment from the physical product rather than relying solely on the technical drawing
  • Waste fitting: use one compatible Fienza A3 waste fitted with the specified extended bolt and thick foam seal
  • Waste outlet: 50mm outlet on the compatible A3 waste assembly
  • Waste installation depth: compatible A3 waste assembly is approximately 90mm deep
  • Installation trade: installation should be completed by suitably qualified kitchen, benchtop and plumbing trades
  • Inspection before installation: inspect the sink for visible faults, finish irregularities or transport damage before it is installed
  • Sealing: use sealing and fixing materials appropriate for the ceramic sink, benchtop substrate and selected installation method

The sink must not be suspended solely from the benchtop or adhesive. The permanent support structure should hold the sink securely and evenly without introducing concentrated pressure points into the ceramic body.

Extra Information

Fine fire clay ceramic is produced through a high-temperature manufacturing process and may exhibit small dimensional or form variations between individual sinks. These characteristics make physical product verification essential before adjoining cabinetry and benchtops are completed. Fienza specifies a manufacturing tolerance of ±10mm and states that its technical drawing is a guide rather than a substitute for measuring the delivered product.

The RKS115 is supplied without a sink waste. It requires a specialised Fienza A3 waste with an extended fixing bolt and thick foam seal. The seal replaces the standard black rubber seal and is designed to provide secure fitment through the thicker ceramic base of selected RAK butler sinks. Compatible finishes allow the visible waste to be coordinated with surrounding tapware and kitchen hardware.

Fienza identifies its butler sink range as heatproof, food safe, stain resistant, impact resistant and easy to clean. These shared material qualities support use in working kitchen and laundry environments, while the glazed surface helps maintain a hygienic finish through routine cleaning.
