Product Overview

The Fienza Olivia 68706 is a large single-bowl butler sink designed for kitchen or laundry installations requiring substantial usable capacity. Its 840mm-wide fire clay ceramic body provides a 67-litre bowl, with a deep internal profile suited to washing oversized cookware, baking trays, serving pieces and larger household items that can be difficult to accommodate in a conventional sink.

The apron front is reversible, allowing either the vertically fluted face or the smooth flat face to be presented towards the room. This dual-sided construction gives the same sink a more traditional farmhouse character or a restrained contemporary appearance, without changing its installation footprint. The sink is glazed on every side, including surfaces that may remain visible when installed with an exposed apron front.

Manufactured from fine fire clay ceramic using high-quality European materials, the Olivia can be installed as an undermount or flushmount sink. Its weight must be carried by permanent support shelving within the cabinet rather than by the benchtop alone, and Fienza requires final cabinetry dimensions to be taken directly from the physical sink because fire clay production can result in dimensional variation of up to ±15mm.

Product Details & Specifications

Product Features
  • Large 67-litre single bowl: provides generous uninterrupted space for large pots, roasting trays, platters and bulky washing tasks.
  • Reversible apron front: can be installed with either the fluted face or smooth flat face visible, allowing the presentation to be selected during cabinetry planning.
  • Fine fire clay ceramic: manufactured using high-quality European materials to create a substantial ceramic sink body with a fully glazed surface.
  • Glazed on all sides: maintains a consistent gloss finish across the bowl, rim, apron and external surfaces that may remain exposed after installation.
  • Undermount or flushmount installation: supports two integrated benchtop configurations when installed with the required structural shelving.
  • Deep internal bowl: the technical drawing specifies an internal depth of approximately 235mm, providing substantial vertical clearance within the sink.
  • No integrated drainer: the uninterrupted single-bowl format prioritises internal washing capacity and allows a separate benchtop drainer or accessory to be selected independently.
  • Dedicated basket-waste compatibility: designed for Fienza A3SS, A3CM or A3RB basket wastes, allowing the visible waste finish to coordinate with selected tapware or surrounding fittings.

Installation & Requirements
  • Installation type: undermount or flushmount
  • Cabinet support: install on permanent structural support shelving capable of carrying the sink independently of the benchtop.
  • Cabinet sizing: allow for an approximately 840mm-wide sink body and confirm that the selected cabinet provides adequate internal width, structural reinforcement and plumbing clearance.
  • Physical-product measurement: take all final cabinetry, benchtop and support measurements from the actual sink supplied before fabrication or cutting. The published drawing is a planning guide and must not be used as the sole basis for final cut-outs.
  • Manufacturing variance: allow ±15mm variation in individual fire clay dimensions, including width, depth, height and bowl measurements.
  • Apron orientation: select the fluted or flat front before final positioning and cabinetry completion, as the chosen face will be exposed towards the room.
  • Waste requirement: fit one compatible basket waste; Fienza specifies A3SS, A3CM or A3RB, sold separately.
  • Waste aperture: Ø90mm sink opening.
  • Waste outlet compatibility: the specified Fienza basket wastes use a 50mm outlet and are approximately 90mm deep. Confirm adequate clearance below the sink for the waste body, trap and connected pipework.
  • Tapware installation: install the mixer or tapware through the benchtop or a separate mounting surface, as the sink has no integrated tap platform or pre-drilled tap hole.
  • Professional installation: cabinetry, benchtop and plumbing work should be completed by suitably qualified trades using the physical product and current Fienza documentation as the final reference.

Extra Information

Fire clay butler sinks are produced through a ceramic manufacturing process rather than fabricated to the tight tolerances associated with pressed stainless steel. Fienza therefore identifies every published dimension as a guide and specifies a ±15mm manufacturing allowance. The sink should be delivered to site before cabinetry and benchtop fabrication is finalised so the installer can establish the precise support height, apron opening, benchtop relationship and waste position from the individual product received.

The reversible exterior changes the sink’s visual character without changing the bowl or installation requirements. The fluted side introduces a traditional farmhouse detail, while the flat side provides a simpler apron profile. Both faces are glazed, so the preferred orientation can be selected to suit the cabinetry design before the sink is secured.

A basket waste is not supplied with the sink. Fienza lists three compatible 304 stainless steel basket wastes: A3SS in Stainless Steel, A3CM in PVD Carbon Metal and A3RB in PVD Rugged Brass. Each has a removable food strainer, 118 x 89mm outer dimensions, a 50mm outlet and a 90mm overall depth.
