Product Overview

The Fienza Winston 68703 is a 750mm-wide single-bowl butler sink designed for integrated kitchen and laundry cabinetry. Its 60-litre fire clay bowl provides generous uninterrupted washing space within a medium-width format, accommodating large cookware, roasting trays, serving pieces and bulky household items without requiring the footprint of an oversized farmhouse sink.

The exposed apron is reversible, allowing either the detailed shaker face or the smooth flat face to be positioned towards the room. This dual-sided construction enables the same sink to complement traditional, Hamptons-inspired and more restrained contemporary cabinetry. Every side is glazed, maintaining a consistent Gloss White finish across the bowl, rim, apron and any external surfaces left visible after installation.

Manufactured from fine fire clay ceramic using high-quality European materials, the Winston can be installed in an undermount or flushmount configuration. Permanent support shelving is required within the cabinet to carry the sink independently of the benchtop, while Fienza specifies that all final cabinetry and cut-out measurements must be taken from the physical sink received because fire clay production allows a manufacturing variation of ±15mm.

Product Details & Specifications

Product Features
  • 60-litre single bowl: provides substantial uninterrupted space for large pots, roasting trays, platters and general kitchen or laundry washing tasks.
  • Reversible apron front: may be installed with either the shaker-profile face or the smooth flat face visible, allowing the final presentation to be selected during cabinetry planning.
  • Fine fire clay ceramic: manufactured using high-quality European materials to create a substantial ceramic sink body suited to integrated cabinetry installations.
  • Fully glazed construction: the sink is glazed on every side for a consistent Gloss White surface across the bowl, rim, apron and exposed exterior.
  • Medium 750mm format: combines generous internal capacity with a footprint suited to projects where an 800mm or larger butler sink would be impractical.
  • Undermount or flushmount installation: supports two integrated benchtop configurations when installed with the required structural support shelf.
  • Deep 215mm bowl: provides useful vertical clearance for washing larger cookware and containing water within the bowl.
  • Dedicated basket-waste compatibility: accepts Fienza A3SS, A3CM or A3RB basket wastes, allowing the visible waste finish to coordinate with surrounding tapware and fittings.
  • Sink-protector compatibility: designed for use with the optional Fienza A30 protector to create a raised working surface above the ceramic bowl base.

Installation & Requirements
  • Installation type: undermount or flushmount
  • Cabinet support: install the sink on permanent structural support shelving capable of carrying its full weight independently of the benchtop.
  • Cabinet sizing: allow for a nominal 750mm-wide sink body and confirm that the selected cabinet provides sufficient internal width, structural reinforcement and plumbing clearance.
  • Physical-product measurement: complete all final cabinetry, apron opening, benchtop and support measurements using the actual sink received rather than relying solely on the published technical drawing.
  • Manufacturing variance: allow ±15mm variation in the width, depth, height and other dimensions of the individual fire clay product.
  • Apron orientation: select the shaker or flat face before final positioning and cabinetry completion, as the chosen side will remain exposed towards the room.
  • Flushmount positioning: install the sink level with the surrounding benchtop surface and determine the final cut-out from the physical product.
  • Undermount positioning: mount the sink beneath the benchtop so the internal bowl aligns with the finished cut-out edge.
  • Waste requirement: fit one compatible Fienza basket waste in A3SS, A3CM or A3RB; the basket waste is sold separately.
  • Waste aperture: provide for the Ø90mm sink opening and allow sufficient space beneath the bowl for the selected waste, trap and connected pipework.
  • Tapware position: plan the sink mixer or tapware separately within the surrounding benchtop or adjoining mounting surface.
  • Professional installation: cabinetry, benchtop and plumbing work should be completed by suitably qualified trades using the physical sink and current Fienza documentation as the final installation reference.

Extra Information

Fire clay butler sinks are manufactured through a ceramic forming and firing process rather than fabricated to the tighter dimensional consistency associated with pressed metal sinks. Fienza therefore specifies a manufacturing tolerance of ±15mm and states that technical dimensions must be treated as planning guides only.

The sink should be delivered to site before the cabinetry and benchtop are finalised. This allows the installer to confirm the exact product width, apron opening, support height, benchtop relationship and waste position from the individual sink received.

The reversible exterior changes the visual character of the Winston without changing its bowl capacity or installation requirements. The shaker side introduces framed apron detailing, while the flat side provides a cleaner, less decorative presentation. Both sides are fully glazed, enabling the preferred orientation to be selected before the sink is secured.

Fienza identifies the Winston for both kitchen and laundry applications. Its 60-litre capacity provides substantial usable space while the 750mm nominal width offers a more compact alternative to larger butler sinks within the range.
