The Fienza Charlton 68700 is a 68.9cm wide single bowl butler sink designed for kitchens and laundries requiring the depth and visual presence of a traditional apron-front sink in a comparatively compact format. Its 54-litre bowl provides substantial working space for washing cookware, oven trays and larger household items, while the 220mm bowl depth helps contain water within the sink during everyday use.

A reversible front gives the Charlton two distinct presentation options. The fluted face introduces a more decorative, traditional character, while the flat face creates a simpler profile suited to transitional and contemporary cabinetry. Both sides are finished as part of the same sink, allowing the preferred front to be selected during installation rather than requiring a separate model.

The sink is manufactured from fine fire clay ceramic using high-quality European materials and is glazed on all sides in Gloss White. Fienza describes its Butler sink range as heat proof, food safe, stain resistant, impact resistant and easy to clean, making the Charlton suitable for heavily used kitchen and laundry environments where material durability and hygiene are important.

Installation may be configured as undermount or flushmount. Due to the weight and construction of the fire clay body, the sink must be carried by permanent support shelving within the cabinet rather than relying on the benchtop or sealant for structural support. A compatible basket waste is required and is purchased separately, with multiple finish options available to coordinate with surrounding tapware and hardware.

Installation & Requirements:

• Installation type: undermount or flushmount.

Extra Information:

Fire clay sinks are formed and fired rather than fabricated from sheet material. Final cabinetry and benchtop work should therefore be coordinated with the physical sink supplied, particularly for an apron-front installation where the front edge, support shelf and surrounding cabinetry must align accurately.

The reversible body allows the final visual treatment to be decided as part of the kitchen installation. Positioning the fluted face outward creates a more decorative farmhouse appearance; reversing the sink exposes the plain face for a quieter architectural profile. The bowl capacity, dimensions and installation requirements remain the same in either orientation.
