Induction cooking heats cookware directly rather than the cooktop surface itself, allowing faster response times, lower ambient surface temperatures and improved energy efficiency compared to conventional electric cooktops. Induction-compatible cookware with a magnetic base is required for operation.

The PXV975DV1E supports Bosch Home Connect functionality, enabling compatible smart features through the Home Connect app. When paired with compatible Bosch rangehoods, the cooktop can automatically control extraction levels based on cooking activity.
