The PVS831HC1H is compatible with induction-ready cookware only. Cookware must contain a magnetic base to activate the induction zones. Cookware manufactured from glass, aluminium, or copper without a magnetic base will not function on the induction surface.

Bosch induction technology heats cookware directly rather than heating the cooktop surface itself, helping provide faster response times, improved efficiency, and easier post-cooking cleaning. The smooth ceramic glass surface allows spills to be wiped away more easily due to reduced residual surface heat compared to conventional electric cooktops.

The Home Connect platform enables additional connected functionality through compatible smart devices, including custom Favourite button configuration and appliance status monitoring.
