The PVQ711H26E is designed as a combined cooktop and ventilation appliance, removing the need for a separate overhead rangehood in many kitchen layouts. It is particularly suited to island bench installations and open-plan kitchen designs where overhead cabinetry or ceiling-mounted extraction is undesirable.

Bosch integrated ventilation cooktops support multiple installation configurations including fully ducted extraction, partially ducted recirculation, and fully recirculated operation when paired with the appropriate Bosch installation accessories and ducting components. Installation planning should occur prior to cabinetry manufacture and benchtop preparation.

Induction cooking requires cookware with a magnetic base. Glass, copper, and aluminium cookware without a magnetic induction-compatible base will not activate the cooking zones.
