Bosch induction technology heats cookware directly rather than heating the ceramic surface itself, allowing faster response times and reduced residual surface heat after cooking. The induction system activates only when compatible cookware is detected on an active cooking zone.

The PUJ611BB5H is designed as a lower connected-load induction cooktop with a total connected load of 4.6 kW, making it suitable for installations where higher-capacity induction circuits may not be available. Despite the reduced total connected load, the cooktop still supports PowerBoost functionality for accelerated heating performance on selected zones.

The frameless ceramic glass surface is intended for proud-mount benchtop installation and integrates with a wide range of contemporary kitchen materials including engineered stone, laminate, and solid-surface benchtops when installed according to Bosch installation specifications.
