Product Overview:

The Bertazzoni BZIRH1130-380-2 is a 113cm under-cupboard rangehood designed for concealed integration into wide overhead cabinetry. Its 380mm-deep base is specifically configured for use above induction cooktops, while the matt black powder-coated underside creates a discreet, coordinated finish beneath the cabinet.

Twin internal motors deliver a maximum extraction capacity of 1,500m³/h, providing substantial ventilation coverage across larger cooking surfaces. Two selectable fan speeds allow the extraction level to be adjusted through straightforward electronic press-button controls.

Four aluminium grease filters span the 1130mm body, supported by two cool LED lights positioned across the base to illuminate the cooking area. The undermount installation keeps the rangehood largely concealed while retaining accessible controls, lighting and filters beneath the cabinetry.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Filter cleaning interval: clean the grease filters at least once per month, or immediately following heavy use.
• Hand washing: wash the filters in warm, soapy water before rinsing and drying completely.
• Dishwasher cleaning: place the filters on the upper rack and use a detergent with a pH of 8 or lower; dishwasher cleaning may discolour the aluminium without affecting normal operation.
• Powder-coated surfaces: clean with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth, then wipe away remaining soap and dry thoroughly.
• Cleaning products: do not use abrasive, corrosive, caustic, acidic, industrial or citric cleaning products.
• Filter operation: do not operate the rangehood unless all four filters are correctly fitted.

Extra Information:

The BZIRH1130-380-2 must operate as a ducted rangehood and is not designed to discharge air into surrounding cabinetry, a ceiling cavity or a wall cavity. Each motor requires an unrestricted 150mm metal duct, with broad-radius bends used wherever direction changes are necessary. Restricted outlets, crushed semi-rigid ducting or undersized ducts may increase operating noise and reduce extraction performance.

The 380mm-deep configuration is intended to provide improved coverage above induction cooking surfaces. Correct installation height remains important, as induction cooking can produce condensation on rangehood filters when the appliance is installed too close to the cooking surface.

The rangehood must be switched off after use, and the filters require regular cleaning to maintain airflow and satisfy the manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Flambé cooking must not be performed beneath the rangehood.
