Product Overview:

The Bertazzoni BZIRH1130-275-2 is a 113cm under-cupboard rangehood designed for concealed installation within wide overhead cabinetry. Its 275mm-deep body provides a streamlined ventilation solution for larger cooking appliances while maintaining a discreet profile beneath the cabinet line.

Twin internal motors deliver a maximum airflow capacity of 1,500m³/h, with two fan speeds allowing extraction to be adjusted to suit everyday cooking or more intensive frying, grilling and multi-burner use. Two independent 150mm top duct outlets support the twin-motor configuration, helping preserve airflow when the rangehood is correctly connected to appropriately sized external ducting.

The matt black powder-coated base is paired with electronic press-button controls, two cool LED lights and two removable aluminium grease filters. A supplied 10A plug and lead simplifies electrical connection, while the adjustable spring-bracket mounting system accommodates a range of cabinet-panel thicknesses.

Programmes / Functions:

• Low Fan Speed: provides reduced extraction for light cooking, simmering and lower levels of steam or odour.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Filter cleaning frequency: Bertazzoni recommends cleaning the grease filters at least once each month and immediately after particularly heavy use.
• Hand washing: wash the filters in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before refitting.
• Dishwasher cleaning: place the filters in the upper dishwasher rack and use no detergent or a suitable powder detergent with a pH of 8 or lower.
• Filter discolouration: dishwasher cleaning may change the appearance of the aluminium filters without necessarily affecting their operation.
• Filter installation: do not operate the rangehood unless both grease filters are correctly fitted.
• Powder-coated surface care: disconnect the power before cleaning, then wipe the rangehood with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
• Residue removal: wipe the surface again with a clean damp cloth to remove remaining soap, then dry it fully with a clean cloth.
• Cleaning products: do not use abrasive, corrosive, caustic, acidic, industrial or citric cleaning products on the rangehood or filters.

Installation & Requirements:

• Installation type: built-in under-cupboard installation within overhead cabinetry.

Extra Information:

The twin-motor arrangement requires two correctly sized 150mm duct paths rather than combining both outlets into an undersized single duct. Duct design has a direct effect on extraction performance and operating sound; narrow transitions, restrictive exterior vents, crushed semi-rigid ducting and tight bends may reduce airflow while increasing turbulence and noise.

The 275mm cabinet depth distinguishes this model from the deeper BZIRH1130-380-2. Bertazzoni specifically identifies the 380mm-deep versions as the models designed for use above induction cooktops, where condensation at the grease filters can be more pronounced. The intended cooktop type and required capture depth should therefore be established before cabinetry is manufactured.

The rangehood should be switched off after use and the filters maintained regularly. Cooking methods that produce substantial grease, smoke or steam may require more frequent cleaning than the standard monthly interval. Flambé cooking beneath the rangehood is prohibited.
