You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Bowl size is the STRAND's strength. A 450 x 400mm bowl sits in a body only 490 x 440mm.

The 472 x 422mm cut-out and 500mm minimum cabinet make it a good match for compact layouts. Radius corners and a single pressed bowl make wiping clean straightforward, and an optional B20.42 chopping board and CS16.39 colander are listed on the spec sheet.

The STRAND is a 490mm sink with a 450 x 400mm bowl, and its sound-deadening properties help reduce noise in everyday use. The stainless steel is recyclable at the end of its life.

The sink is made from 1mm polished AISI 304 stainless steel. A polished finish is bright and reflective, and shows water marks and fingerprints more readily than a satin finish. AISI 304 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade widely used for sinks because of its corrosion resistance.

Plan the cut-out as 472 x 422mm with a minimum cabinet width of 500mm. Artusi notes that its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. Inset sinks sit on top of the benchtop with the rim overlapping the cut-out. Undermount sinks are fixed beneath the benchtop so the bowl edge meets the benchtop surface. Flushmount sinks sit level with the benchtop surface. Inset slim top sinks are inset sinks with a low-profile rim.
