You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A 1.5 bowl layout sits between a single and a double. The 170mm half-bowl is narrow, but at 400mm front to back it is ideal for rinsing vegetables or soaking cutlery, while the 340mm main bowl handles the heavy work.

The two bowls have different depths, 153mm and 203mm, so each suits its job. Artusi lists optional chopping boards, including G21.40 boards in white and black, and a CS16.39 colander as accessories.

The PARK LANE is the wider alternative to the KINGS CROSS 1.5 bowl sink, keeping the same 340 x 400mm and 170 x 400mm bowl sizes and adding an integrated drainer. It is available with a left or right hand bowl.

The sink is made from 1mm satin AISI 304 stainless steel. A satin finish has a softer, matte appearance that helps minimise the visibility of fingerprints and light marks. AISI 304 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade widely used for sinks because of its corrosion resistance.

Plan the cut-out as 772 x 482mm with a minimum cabinet width of 600mm. Artusi notes that its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. Inset sinks sit on top of the benchtop with the rim overlapping the cut-out. Undermount sinks are fixed beneath the benchtop so the bowl edge meets the benchtop surface. Flushmount sinks sit level with the benchtop surface. Inset slim top sinks are inset sinks with a low-profile rim.
