Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The OXFORD pairs unevenly sized bowls on purpose: the 400 x 450mm main bowl takes the big items, while the 340 x 400mm second bowl is the right size for rinsing and prep. The main bowl is also the deeper of the two, at 228mm.

The spec sheet lists a 900mm minimum cabinet and an 812 x 492mm cut-out. It is available with the main bowl on the right or on the left. Optional B30.42 and B20.42 chopping boards and a CS16.39 colander are listed as accessories.

The sink is made from 1mm polished AISI 304 stainless steel. A polished finish is bright and reflective, and shows water marks and fingerprints more readily than a satin finish. AISI 304 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade widely used for sinks because of its corrosion resistance.

Plan the cut-out as 812 x 492mm with a minimum cabinet width of 900mm. Artusi notes that its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. Inset sinks sit on top of the benchtop with the rim overlapping the cut-out. Undermount sinks are fixed beneath the benchtop so the bowl edge meets the benchtop surface. Flushmount sinks sit level with the benchtop surface. Inset slim top sinks are inset sinks with a low-profile rim.
