The KINGS CROSS gets two bowls into a footprint of 573 x 444mm, which works because the second bowl is a narrow 170mm. That bowl is ideal for rinsing, scraps and soaking, while the 340mm main bowl handles larger items.

A 565 x 400mm cut-out and 600mm minimum cabinet keep it very compact. Optional B30.42 and B20.42 chopping boards and a CS16.39 colander are listed on the spec sheet.

Within the stainless range, the KINGS CROSS is the narrower of the two 1.5 bowl sinks, alongside the 860mm PARK LANE, which adds an integrated drainer.

The sink is made from 1mm polished AISI 304 stainless steel. A polished finish is bright and reflective, and shows water marks and fingerprints more readily than a satin finish. AISI 304 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel grade widely used for sinks because of its corrosion resistance.

Plan the cut-out as 565 x 400mm with a minimum cabinet width of 600mm. Artusi notes that its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. Inset sinks sit on top of the benchtop with the rim overlapping the cut-out. Undermount sinks are fixed beneath the benchtop so the bowl edge meets the benchtop surface. Flushmount sinks sit level with the benchtop surface. Inset slim top sinks are inset sinks with a low-profile rim.
