Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The AWM8000W and AWM8000GB share the same specifications and differ in colour only. Both are intended for indoor household and similar use, such as bed and breakfast settings and shared laundry areas in blocks of flats, and are not intended for commercial use or built-in installation.

Use a non-foaming or low-foaming detergent suitable for machine washing, and do not put laundry beads into the detergent dispenser. Add detergent to compartment I only when Pre Wash is selected. Programme durations and consumption vary with load size, water temperature and the options selected, and Quick 15' may leave clothes with a higher moisture content after the cycle.

Before the first wash, run the Drum Clean programme with no laundry and no detergent to remove residual water and neutralise odours. The manual also recommends calibrating the empty machine so the load-sensing function works at its best; the steps are set out in the user manual.

Install the machine on a rigid, dry, level surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight, in a room above 5°C and with water pressure between 0.05 and 1 MPa. When washing a single garment, add one or two more items to avoid an unbalanced load, and do not wash or spin waterproof seats, mats or clothing. ECO Wash is the standard programme to which the energy and water ratings relate; it was tested at 60°C with an 8kg load, and half load for this machine is 4.0kg.
