• Tap hole preparation: The sink has pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bores on both sides for the tap. Finish the hole you need with a diamond core drill, working from the non-visible side.

• Cut-out: Trace around the inverted sink and cut 1cm inside the line, or use the cut-out size listed under Product Measurements.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The AGS611 keeps things simple: one wide bowl, no divider and a clean outline. A single bowl is easier to fit larger trays and cookware into, and the lack of a dividing wall gives a calm, minimal look on the benchtop.

It is specified as an inset sink, so it sits on top of the benchtop with the cut-out hidden beneath its rim. Artusi lists an optional AGB01304 drain rack as an accessory, which suits drying dishes beside the bowl.

Because the AGS611 is specified for inset installation, it is the simpler fit for benchtops where an undermount edge would be difficult or costly, such as laminate. Sizing is 610 x 500mm with a 590 x 480mm cut-out.

Plan the cut-out as 590 x 480mm, and keep in mind that Artusi notes its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. It is specified as an inset sink. The Granitek installation instructions describe tightening the pre-installed clamps from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern. The sink has no finished tap hole, so choose the tap position and finish the pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bore with a diamond core drill.

Granitek is a bonded granite and acrylic resin composite, moulded using an internationally patented process that distributes the components evenly through the whole of the sink rather than only at the surface. The colour is applied by ceramisation, which fires the granite particles at over 700°C so the colour reaches their core and improves resistance to discolouration.
