• Tap hole preparation: The sink has pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bores on both sides for the tap. Finish the hole you need with a diamond core drill, working from the non-visible side.
• Cut-out: Trace around the inverted sink and cut 1cm inside the line, or use the cut-out size listed under Product Measurements.
• Mounting hardware: Mounting clamps are pre-installed and special sealant is supplied. Position the clasps facing inwards and tighten the adjusting screws from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern.
• Drainage: Fit the waste and siphon in line with the accessory instructions supplied.

Most two-bowl sinks need a wide cabinet, which is what makes the 590mm AGS592B unusual. Fitting a main bowl and a half bowl into a 590 x 500mm footprint suits kitchens where bench width is limited but the routine of washing in one bowl and rinsing in the other is not something you want to give up.

It is offered in black only. Granitek colour is fired into the granite particles rather than applied as a coating, so the finish is designed to keep its depth of colour over time. Artusi lists an optional AVI03305 stainless steel colander as an accessory for this sink.

The AGS592B suits kitchens that want the washing-and-rinsing routine of a two-bowl sink without a wide cabinet, with the main bowl and half bowl fitted inside a 590mm width.

Artusi notes that its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. It is specified for inset or undermount installation. The Granitek installation instructions describe tightening the pre-installed clamps from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern. The sink has no finished tap hole, so choose the tap position and finish the pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bore with a diamond core drill.

Granitek is a bonded granite and acrylic resin composite, moulded using an internationally patented process that distributes the components evenly through the whole of the sink rather than only at the surface. The colour is applied by ceramisation, which fires the granite particles at over 700°C so the colour reaches their core and improves resistance to discolouration.
