• Tap hole preparation: The sink has pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bores on both sides for the tap. Finish the hole you need with a diamond core drill, working from the non-visible side.
• Cut-out size: 390 x 480mm.
• Cut-out: Trace around the inverted sink and cut 1cm inside the line, or use the cut-out size listed under Product Measurements.
• Mounting hardware: Mounting clamps are pre-installed and special sealant is supplied. Position the clasps facing inwards and tighten the adjusting screws from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A 410mm sink is a specialist: it is not trying to replace a main kitchen sink, but to add a second wash and prep point where space is limited. Because it uses the same Granitek material as Artusi's larger sinks, it carries the same resistance to heat, impacts and scratches in a much smaller footprint.

Choosing between black and white mostly comes down to how much you want the sink to stand out. Black reads as a deep, modern accent, while white is a bright, clean option. Artusi also lists an optional AGB01305 drain rack for this sink, a handy extra when the sink doubles as a rinsing station.

Within the Granitek range, the AGS411 is the smallest single bowl, sitting below the 610mm AGS611. It is a natural choice for a bar, butler's pantry or secondary prep position where a full-width sink will not fit.

Plan the cut-out as 390 x 480mm, and keep in mind that Artusi notes its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. It is specified for inset or undermount installation. The Granitek installation instructions describe tightening the pre-installed clamps from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern. The sink has no finished tap hole, so choose the tap position and finish the pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bore with a diamond core drill.

Granitek is a bonded granite and acrylic resin composite, moulded using an internationally patented process that distributes the components evenly through the whole of the sink rather than only at the surface. The colour is applied by ceramisation, which fires the granite particles at over 700°C so the colour reaches their core and improves resistance to discolouration.
