• Tap hole preparation: The sink has pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bores on both sides for the tap. Finish the hole you need with a diamond core drill, working from the non-visible side.

• Cut-out: Trace around the inverted sink and cut 1cm inside the line, or use the cut-out size listed under Product Measurements.
• Mounting hardware: Mounting clamps are pre-installed and special sealant is supplied. Position the clasps facing inwards and tighten the adjusting screws from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The integrated drainer is what sets the AGS1001 apart from Artusi's other single bowl Granitek sinks. Instead of balancing a dish rack on the bench, wet dishes can rest on the drainer and run straight back into the bowl.

At 1000 x 510mm it needs a larger cabinet, so check the 980 x 480mm cut-out against your bench plan before ordering. Artusi lists an optional ATL11600 wooden chopping block as a matching accessory for this sink.

The AGS1001 suits kitchens that prefer to wash by hand and drain on the sink rather than on a separate rack, and it is available in both black and white with identical dimensions.

Plan the cut-out as 980 x 480mm, and keep in mind that Artusi notes its literature gives indicative dimensions only, so the sink itself should be used to mark the benchtop cut-out. It is specified as an inset sink. The Granitek installation instructions describe tightening the pre-installed clamps from the centre outward in a criss-cross pattern. The sink has no finished tap hole, so choose the tap position and finish the pre-prepared Ø35mm semi-bore with a diamond core drill.

Granitek is a bonded granite and acrylic resin composite, moulded using an internationally patented process that distributes the components evenly through the whole of the sink rather than only at the surface. The colour is applied by ceramisation, which fires the granite particles at over 700°C so the colour reaches their core and improves resistance to discolouration.
