• Licensed installation: Must be installed by a licensed gas fitter, with other trades as applicable, in accordance with AS/NZS 5601.1 and local regulations.
• Cut-out and counter: 585 x 505mm cut-out in a counter at least 600mm deep. The top of the grill must be no more than 10mm above the supporting surface.
• Non-combustible compartment: Build the compartment from non-combustible materials and fit a non-combustible barrier 30 to 35mm below the base of the BBQ.
• Ventilation: Provide a ventilation opening of at least 700 x 25mm, centred 135mm below the mounting surface, and keep all ventilation openings clear.
• Clearances (outdoor): Keep combustible materials at least 600mm above the cooking surface, 300mm to the sides and 200mm to the rear. Insulate combustible surfaces when mounting against a wall or fence.
• Roasting lid clearance: Leave at least 70mm behind the BBQ between the splashback and the cut-out so a high lid can open.
• Gas connection: A universal LPG regulator and hose is supplied for outdoor use. A natural gas regulator and braided hose are not supplied, and natural gas needs a bayonet connection point fitted by a licensed gas fitter. Flexible hose must be certified and no longer than 1.2 metres.
• Indoor use: Indoor installation needs 1200mm between the BBQ and rangehood (600mm outdoors) and is not approved with a cooking hood. Use the flat lid indoors.
• Gas conversion: Conversion between gas types must be done by an authorised person.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. This compact BBQ is sold in three configurations so you only pay for what you need. Choose the BBQ on its own if you are lidding it later, or select the BBQ + Flat Lid for a low-profile finish that also covers enclosed entertaining areas. The BBQ + Roasting Hood adds a 60cm roasting lid with an integrated temperature gauge for slow cooking and roasting.

Artusi lists stainless steel 60cm lids (ABBQMF3 flat lid and ABBQMH3 roasting lid) for this BBQ rather than matte black ones, so both packages pair a black BBQ with stainless lids. Check your cut-out, gas type, ventilation and clearances against the operation manual before ordering, and book a licensed gas fitter for the connection.
