• Installation type: topmount, flushmount or undermount, with inset and undermount clips supplied.

• Cut-out: paper or cardboard templates, where supplied, are a guide only. Using the actual sink gives a more accurate cut-out.
• Undermount fixing: clean the underside of the benchtop and the top flange of the sink with methylated spirits, apply a bead of silicone to the top edge of the bowl, position the sink, then fit the bridge plates and tighten the nylon nuts. Place the plates and bolts 10mm from the sink edge and use stone adhesive to attach the bolts to the underside of the benchtop, allowing the adhesive to cure fully.
• Clip strength: each clip is designed to support more than 30kg when used with a stone or stone-like benchtop.
• Do not use adhesive on the sink: the warranty is void if epoxy or adhesive is used to secure the sink to the bench.
• Professional installation: Abey recommends that undermount sinks and routering of solid surface material are done by a professional installer, and the warranty requires installation by a licensed plumber, cabinet maker or stonemason.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Abey designed the Alfresco range for the places a normal kitchen sink is not made for: outdoor kitchens, covered patios and coastal homes. Choosing SUS316 over standard 304 stainless steel is the single most useful decision for these spaces, because the added molybdenum in 316 stainless steel gives much better protection against the pitting and surface rust that salt air can cause.

The FRA400D has no tap hole, which gives you freedom to choose the tap that suits your bench layout. If you would like the sink with a mixer and drainer tray already matched, ask us about the FRA400DT15 pack, which includes the sink, a DTA18-316 drain tray and the KTA037-316-BR mixer.
