Product Description
Product Overview:
The Fienza RKS188 RAK New York is a compact 600mm-wide single bowl butler sink manufactured from fine fire clay ceramic. Its exposed flat apron front and Alpine Gloss White finish bring the traditional farmhouse sink profile into a size suited to smaller kitchen, scullery and laundry cabinetry.
With a full-width, uninterrupted bowl measuring approximately 560mm across internally, the RKS188 provides practical washing space without the larger footprint of an 800mm or 900mm butler sink. The ceramic body is glazed on every side, allowing the sink to remain neatly finished wherever the installation leaves part of the exterior visible.
The sink can be installed as an undermount or flushmount configuration. Its substantial 32kg construction requires permanent support shelving beneath the bowl, while the natural manufacturing characteristics of fire clay ceramic mean final cabinetry and benchtop measurements must always be taken from the physical sink before cutting.
Product Features:
- Fine fire clay ceramic: formed from dense ceramic material and finished with a smooth glazed surface for use as a substantial kitchen or laundry sink.
- Compact 600mm width: delivers the visual presence and deep-bowl format of a butler sink within a more space-conscious footprint.
- Single bowl configuration: provides one uninterrupted washing area without a divider between bowls.
- Flat apron front: creates the exposed, rectilinear front profile associated with traditional butler and farmhouse sink installations.
- Glazed on all sides: provides a consistent finished surface around the exterior of the sink, including areas that may remain visible after installation.
- Undermount or flushmount installation: supports two integrated benchtop configurations according to the required kitchen design.
- Permanent support installation: the 32kg ceramic sink is designed to sit on dedicated structural shelving rather than relying on the benchtop for support.
- Compatible metal cap waste: designed for use with the Fienza WAS59 waste, available separately.
Colour / Finishes:
- Alpine Gloss White — RKS188
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Routine cleaning: wipe the sink with a clean, soft cloth and mild soapy water or a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Cleaner testing: test cleaning products on an inconspicuous section before applying them across the entire sink.
- Heat exposure: avoid placing hot objects directly onto the ceramic surface, as excessive heat may cause marking or discolouration.
- Chemical spills: remove hair dye, aftershave, nail polish, nail polish remover, aerosol products and other harsh chemicals immediately.
- Surface protection: clean chemical residue promptly with mild soapy water and a clean, soft cloth to reduce the risk of permanent surface damage.

Extra Information:
Fire clay ceramic products are individually formed and fired, so small dimensional differences may occur between sinks. Fienza specifies a manufacturing tolerance of ±10mm and advises that the physical product must be used for final installation measurements. This is particularly important for butler sink cabinetry, where the exposed apron front, support shelf and benchtop opening must align accurately.
The sink is glazed on all sides rather than only across the visible bowl interior. This provides greater installation flexibility and a consistent gloss-white finish around the apron and exterior surfaces that may remain exposed.
Printed and on-screen colours should be treated as a guide only. The appearance of Alpine Gloss White may vary slightly between digital imagery and the physical glazed ceramic finish.
