Product Description
Product Overview:
The Fienza Olivia 68705 is a medium single bowl butler sink crafted from fine fire clay ceramic and finished in Gloss White. At approximately 765mm wide with a 66-litre capacity, it provides substantial working space for washing cookware, oven trays and larger household items without requiring the broader cabinetry footprint of an oversized farmhouse sink.
A reversible apron front gives the Olivia two distinct presentation options. The fluted face introduces a traditional architectural detail suited to farmhouse, Hamptons and classic kitchen schemes, while the flat face creates a cleaner profile for transitional or contemporary cabinetry. Because both surfaces are incorporated into the same sink body, the preferred front can be selected during installation.
The sink is glazed on all sides and manufactured using high-quality European materials. Its fire clay construction produces a substantial ceramic form with a smooth finished surface across the bowl, rim and external faces, allowing the sink to remain visible where the chosen cabinetry design exposes more than the apron front.
Designed for undermount or flushmount installation, the Olivia requires permanent support shelving beneath the sink rather than relying on the benchtop for structural support. Fire clay dimensions can vary through manufacture, so cabinetry and benchtop openings must be prepared from the physical sink supplied rather than from nominal drawing dimensions alone.
Product Features:
- Reversible apron front: The sink can be installed with either its fluted surface or flat surface facing forward, providing two design expressions from one sink body.
- Fine fire clay ceramic: Manufactured from fine fire clay using high-quality European materials for the substantial form and smooth glazed surface associated with traditional butler sinks.
- Glazed on all sides: The bowl, apron and external surfaces are glazed, supporting installation designs where more of the sink body remains visible.
- Generous single bowl: The 66-litre bowl provides uninterrupted space for large cookware, baking trays and bulky household items.
- Deep bowl profile: A nominal 235mm bowl depth provides substantial vertical working space within the sink.
- Medium-width format: The approximately 765mm overall width places the Olivia between compact butler sinks and larger farmhouse models, balancing bowl capacity with cabinetry requirements.
- Undermount installation: The sink can be positioned beneath the benchtop to create a defined benchtop edge above the ceramic bowl.
- Flushmount installation: The rim can also be installed level with the surrounding benchtop where the benchtop material and fabrication method permit.
- Permanent structural support: The sink is designed to sit on permanent support shelving, keeping its weight independently supported beneath the benchtop.
- Selectable waste finish: Compatible Fienza Hana basket wastes are available separately in Stainless Steel, PVD Carbon Metal and PVD Rugged Brass finishes.

Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Routine cleaning: Wipe the sink with a clean, soft cloth and mild soapy water or a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Cleaner testing: Test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area before applying it across the complete sink.
- Abrasive products: Avoid abrasive cleaners and cleaning tools that may affect the glazed surface.
- Hot objects: Do not place hot objects directly onto the sink surface, as concentrated heat may cause marking or discolouration.
- Chemical spills: Remove hair dye, aftershave lotion, nail polish, nail polish remover, aerosol spray and other harsh chemicals immediately.
- Spill removal: Clean chemical spills promptly with mild soapy water and a clean, soft cloth to reduce the risk of surface damage or discolouration.

- Waste centre position from front or rear: 227.5mm
- Manufacturing tolerance: ±15mm applies to the fire clay ceramic dimensions shown by the manufacturer.
The listed dimensions are a planning guide only. Final cabinetry, support structure and benchtop fabrication must be based on measurements taken from the physical sink received, as dimensional variation is inherent in the fire clay manufacturing process.
Installation & Requirements:
- Installation type: Undermount or flushmount
- Cabinet support: Permanent support shelving must be installed beneath the sink.
- Benchtop loading: The sink must not depend solely on the benchtop or benchtop adhesive for structural support.
- Final set-out: Measure the physical sink before preparing the cabinet, benchtop opening or support shelf.
- Dimensional allowance: Account for the manufacturer’s stated ±15mm fire clay production tolerance during cabinetry and benchtop planning.
- Sink orientation: Confirm whether the fluted or flat apron face will be presented before the sink is secured into the cabinetry.
- Waste requirement: Install one compatible basket waste with a 90mm sink opening; the waste is not supplied with the sink.
- Plumbing connection: The selected basket waste must be connected to a suitable waste system in accordance with local plumbing requirements.
- Installation sequencing: The sink should be available on site before final cabinet construction and benchtop cutting so its actual dimensions can be checked.
- Professional installation: Cabinetry, benchtop fabrication and plumbing should be completed by appropriately qualified tradespeople using the physical product and manufacturer specification sheet.
Extra Information:
Fire clay ceramic sinks are formed and fired at high temperatures, and dimensional variation can occur between individual pieces. Fienza specifies a tolerance of ±15mm for this product and instructs installers to use the actual sink received for final specification. This requirement is particularly important for a butler sink because the apron alignment, support shelf height and benchtop opening all depend on the dimensions of the individual unit.
The reversible front must be considered during cabinetry planning rather than after the sink has been fixed in place. Presenting the fluted face creates a more traditional farmhouse appearance, while the flat face provides a restrained profile. Both orientations retain the same bowl capacity, measurements and installation requirements.
The Olivia does not include a basket waste. One Fienza Hana basket waste is required and must be selected separately. Compatible options include Stainless Steel A3SS, PVD Carbon Metal A3CM and PVD Rugged Brass A3RB, allowing the visible waste finish to coordinate with surrounding tapware and hardware.
Printed and on-screen colours are indicative only. The appearance of the Gloss White ceramic may vary from displayed imagery, and Fienza may modify specifications without prior notice. Final product selection and installation should therefore be based on the physical sink and the current manufacturer documentation supplied with it.
