Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This is a single replacement plate. The 601WB is supplied with two open grill plates and one reversible solid flat plate, so you only need to buy the plate you are replacing. This one matches the 305mm x 455mm open grill plates supplied with the BBQ. Smart lists the plate for the 601WB-W, 611W and 611W-W, and the Black model uses plates of the same size according to the BBQ specifications.

Because the 601WB cooking area is split across three plates, a worn open plate can be replaced on its own while the other open plate and the flat plate keep working as normal. The BBQ manual suggests cleaning the plates straight after cooking once the flames are off, wearing a BBQ mitt and scrubbing the hot plate with a bristled brush dipped in tap water, because cleaning is harder once the plates cool.

Plates are a wear item, so keep a spare on hand if your BBQ sees a lot of use. Accessories sit outside the manufacturer's product warranty.
