Product Description
Product Overview:
The Fienza Olivia Small Single Butler Sink combines traditional farmhouse styling with refined contemporary detailing, making it equally at home in classic country kitchens and modern architectural interiors. Designed with a compact 605mm width, it delivers the generous capacity and visual appeal of a traditional apron-front sink while remaining suitable for smaller kitchen layouts, butler's pantries and premium laundry installations. Its reversible design allows either the softly fluted apron or the smooth flat front to be installed facing outward, providing flexibility to complement a wide range of cabinetry styles and interior finishes.
Crafted from premium fine fire clay ceramic using high-quality European materials, the Olivia sink is manufactured through a high-temperature firing process that produces a dense, durable and fully glazed surface. The smooth non-porous finish helps resist everyday staining while providing a hygienic surface that is easy to clean and maintain. Glazing extends across every external surface, allowing the sink to be viewed from multiple angles without unfinished faces, making it ideal for exposed apron-front installations.
The generous 49.5-litre single bowl offers excellent versatility for washing cookware, baking trays and larger serving dishes, while the deep 235mm bowl helps minimise splashing during daily use. Suitable for either undermount or flushmount installation, the Olivia has been designed for permanent structural support within cabinetry. As with all handcrafted fire clay sinks, every unit carries natural manufacturing tolerances, and Fienza recommends final cabinetry and benchtop fabrication be completed using the physical sink supplied rather than relying solely on technical drawings.
Product Features:
- Reversible apron-front design: Install with either the decorative fluted front or the clean flat face exposed to suit traditional or contemporary kitchen designs.
- Premium fine fire clay construction: Manufactured from fine fire clay ceramic using high-quality European materials for excellent durability and long-term performance.
- Fully glazed construction: Every external surface is glazed to create a smooth, hygienic finish that is easy to maintain while providing a premium appearance from every angle.
- Deep single bowl: The generous 49.5-litre bowl comfortably accommodates roasting trays, stock pots, serving platters and other oversized cookware that may not fit comfortably in conventional sinks.
- 235mm bowl depth: The deep bowl increases usable washing space while helping reduce splashing during food preparation and cleaning.
- Compact butler sink footprint: At approximately 605mm wide, the Olivia Small delivers farmhouse styling where larger apron-front sinks may not be practical.
- Undermount or flushmount installation: Compatible with both installation methods, allowing greater flexibility during kitchen design and benchtop fabrication.
- Permanent support installation: Designed to be installed on permanent structural shelving within cabinetry for correct long-term support of the fire clay construction.
- 90mm basket waste compatibility: Designed for use with Fienza A3SS, A3CM or A3RB basket wastes, allowing the waste finish to coordinate with surrounding tapware and accessories. Basket waste sold separately.
- Handcrafted fire clay manufacturing: Every sink is individually produced, resulting in slight dimensional variation that reflects the nature of genuine fire clay manufacturing.

Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Daily cleaning: Wipe the sink with a soft cloth or sponge using warm water and a mild detergent to remove everyday dirt and food residue.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners: Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, abrasive powders or harsh cleaning products, as these may damage or dull the glazed finish.
- Remove stains promptly: Foods and liquids with strong pigments, including coffee, tea, red wine, beetroot and food colouring, should be rinsed away promptly to minimise the risk of surface staining.
- Prevent chemical damage: Avoid prolonged contact with concentrated bleach, drain cleaners, paint removers and other aggressive chemicals. If accidental contact occurs, rinse the sink thoroughly with clean water immediately.
- Protect the glazed surface: Avoid dropping heavy cookware or sharp objects into the bowl, as excessive impact may chip or damage the fire clay surface.
- Heat precautions: While fire clay offers excellent heat resistance, avoid placing extremely hot cookware directly onto the sink surface without protection where possible to minimise thermal shock.
- Limescale removal: In hard water areas, mineral deposits can be removed using a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for glazed ceramic surfaces, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying with a soft cloth.
- Maintain appearance: Drying the sink after use helps minimise water spotting and preserves the high-gloss glazed finish.
- Optional protection: A compatible Fienza sink protector can help reduce scratches, minimise impact from heavy cookware and improve day-to-day protection of the bowl surface.

Extra Information:
The Olivia collection has been designed to capture the character of traditional farmhouse sinks while incorporating manufacturing techniques suited to modern Australian kitchens. Its reversible front provides flexibility during installation, allowing either the decorative fluted apron or the minimalist flat face to become the visible feature of the kitchen.
Unlike pressed stainless steel sinks, fine fire clay is formed, glazed and kiln-fired at extremely high temperatures to produce a dense ceramic body with excellent resistance to everyday wear. The resulting surface is smooth, hygienic and resistant to fading under normal household use, while the high-gloss finish complements both natural stone and engineered stone benchtops.
As each sink is individually handcrafted, minor dimensional variation, subtle glazing characteristics and natural manufacturing differences are considered part of the product rather than defects. For this reason, Fienza recommends delaying final benchtop fabrication until the physical sink has been received and measured.
To preserve the finish, clean regularly using warm water, a soft cloth and mild detergent. Abrasive powders, steel wool, scouring pads and harsh chemical cleaners should be avoided as they may damage the glazed surface over time. Highly staining substances such as coffee grounds, red wine, beetroot and food colouring should be rinsed away promptly after use.
The Olivia Small Butler Sink is designed for long-term residential use and combines generous bowl capacity with a compact footprint, making it an excellent solution where a traditional apron-front sink is desired without requiring the larger cabinetry typically associated with farmhouse sinks.
