The PXY898DX6E supports Bosch Home Connect integration, allowing monitoring and selected control functions through compatible mobile devices. Compatible Bosch CookConnect rangehoods can automatically respond to cooktop activity by adjusting extraction power and lighting settings.

Induction technology heats cookware directly rather than the surrounding cooktop surface, improving responsiveness and reducing residual surface heat. Cookware must contain a magnetic base for induction activation. Copper, aluminium and glass cookware without magnetic compatibility will not operate on the cooking zones.

The cooktop is also designed to integrate visually with Bosch Accent Line GlassDraft ventilation systems for coordinated kitchen installations.
