The Bosch PIV931HC1E is a 90cm Series 6 induction cooktop finished in black ceramic glass with a bevelled front edge and frameless surface-mounted installation design. Featuring five induction cooking zones — including an expandable Triple Ring Zone — it is designed to support multiple cookware sizes simultaneously while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted benchtop appearance.
Bosch DirectSelect controls provide immediate access to cooking zones, power levels and additional cooking functions through a streamlined touch interface positioned at the front of the cooktop. With 17 power levels per zone, induction heating delivers responsive temperature adjustment and rapid heat transfer directly into compatible cookware while helping keep the surrounding cooktop surface cooler during operation.
The PIV931HC1E also incorporates Bosch PerfectFry Plus temperature sensing technology, allowing supported cookware to maintain predefined pan temperatures for more controlled frying performance. The PIV931HC1E uses induction technology to heat cookware directly rather than heating the cooktop surface itself. This allows faster heat response, improved energy transfer efficiency and easier cleaning due to lower residual surface heat around the cooking zones.
The central Triple Ring Zone expands automatically to suit larger cookware diameters and supports oversized pots, pans and cookware formats more effectively than standard single-ring induction zones. PerfectFry Plus uses an integrated sensor system to help maintain selected pan temperatures between approximately 70°C and 220°C for improved frying consistency.
