Installation & Inspection Requirements:

Before installation, it is essential to:

  • Inspect the product for any blemishes, scratches, dents, discolouration, or imperfections. Installing the product confirms acceptance of its condition.
  • Verify all components are present and in good condition prior to installation.
  • Ensure the product is installed in accordance with National Standards, State Regulations, and Abey’s installation instructions.
  • Note that damage during delivery, handling, or installation is not covered under warranty.

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty will be void if any of the following occur:

  1. No proof of purchase can be provided.
  2. The product is not installed by a licensed plumber.
  3. The installation does not comply with Abey’s specifications or applicable regulations.
  4. Water pressure or temperature exceeds recommended limits (maximum 500kPa).
  5. Water lines are not properly flushed before installation.
  6. Isolation stop taps or flow regulators are not installed as required.
  7. The product has been modified, tampered with, or fitted with non-approved devices such as water filters.
  8. The serial number has been removed or altered.
  9. Damage occurs due to misuse, neglect, harsh cleaning agents, or chemical exposure.
  10. Issues arise from fair wear and tear, improper maintenance, or failure to clean regularly.

Warranty Claim Process:

If you need to make a warranty claim:

  1. Ensure the product has been installed (uninstalled items must be returned to the place of purchase).
  2. Visit www.abey.com.au/after-sales.
  3. Read and acknowledge the Terms of Warranty relevant to your product.
  4. Complete and submit the online warranty claim form, attaching proof of purchase.
  5. A claim number will be emailed to you for future correspondence.
  6. An Abey Warranty Representative will contact you within 2 business days regarding your claim.
